All I Want for Christmas
I wish people would stop expecting that I’m expecting. I find it rather obnoxious that just because I’m at a certain age and because recently got married that I want a baby.
I live in a place where a car/bus is required to get anywhere decent. I don’t have a driver’s licence yet. Before I get a baby I want my driver’s licence. Before I get a baby I want a car.
I don’t have a “proper” job. I work part time. Before I get a baby I want to make sure I can afford to feed it once I give birth.
I live in a house with ridiculously thin walls and I can hear my neighbours as mumbles. Before I get a baby I either need to move _again_ or sound proof the walls.
I find it rude that people keep expecting me to have a baby. And what the hell do they know anyway? What if we’ve been trying? What if we can’t have a baby?
