Change
Looking back at 2011 it has been a year of enormous change for me.
On Jan 22 I got married to the love of my life whom I have been with since the fragile age of 19. I am a happily married woman now. The changes in our relationship are subtle, but they’re there.
I also quit my job, packed up my home and moved to Montréal, Canada with the mentioned husband and two cats. Here we had to find a new home whilst adjusting to a new culture for better and for worse. Changes everywhere.
July 22 was a dark day in Norwegian history when 69 people were killed either in the bombing of our government building or during the massacre at Utøya. It has changed me. Something inside me has shifted. I am more patriotic and less nationalistic than before. Life is fragile and the world is mad.
